  2. How to be a supportive birth partner (green)
  3. Postpartum Recovery incl. recovery after Caesarean Birth (pink), two pages.

I use these affirmations during my twins and multiples workshops. During the break I switch on the tv and have these running on a loop ) for the duration of the break. Couples love it!

All of these have 12-24 different affirmation cards. To be shared with parents and parents-to-be to explore affirmations for labour, birth, breastfeeding and parenting before their babies are born. Invite parents to change, add or make their own affirmations for their own situations. Invite them to use these as inspiration or an example.

Dressing your baby - Puzzle
An activity to enable parents to explore how many or few layers their baby will need to wear. Ideally used with the dressing your baby scenarios*. Alternatively the facilitator can make up a scenario i.e. 'hot summer afternoon - you are planning to go for a walk'. Participants can then choose clothes accordingly.
Activity includes: Short instructions, 4 babies (different colours), 11 items of clothing in 5 different colours (total of 55 items).
Activity is available as print-your-own pdf in A4 (20 pages).

An activity to enable parents-to-be to explore the early postnatal recovery period for mum, her partner and their baby. ·Participants will learn to identify normal aspects of postnatal recovery  and development for mum, partner and baby as well as  recognise warning signs and then to seek help / support when needed.

    Tina Gibbs designs teaching activities and materials for childbirth and parenting education. At the moment Pregnancy to Birth offers print-your-own (pdf) activities, posters, powerpoint activities, crochet patterns as well as labour bead lines which are made by hand using mainly wooden beads.
